An Se-young won the 2026 Denmark Open women's singles final on Sunday, coming from behind to beat Japan's Akane Yamaguchi, according to Olympic Channel. The result gives the South Korean back-to-back titles at the event.

Yamaguchi took the opening game 23-21, the first set An had dropped in the tournament, OSEN reported. An then turned the match around to close out the final.

Olympic Channel framed the victory as another comeback win over Yamaguchi and noted that An has now won ten consecutive meetings between the two players. Yonhap reported that the title was An's tenth of the season and put her win rate at 98.4 percent.

Coverage of An's season has extended beyond results. Chosun Ilbo reported on her advice to young players, quoting her as telling them to enjoy the game and stay positive, in a piece that also cited a 43-match winning streak and a 60-1 record.

An's latest title adds to a dominant run on the BWF World Tour, with Yamaguchi again the player she had to beat to lift the trophy.

What to watch next: whether An can carry this form into her remaining tour events this season, and whether Yamaguchi can end the streak in their next meeting.
