Alexander Zverev meets Lorenzo Musetti in the second round of the Rolex Paris Masters, according to sportschau.de, which carried a live ticker of the match on Wednesday. The German enters the tournament as the top seed, Eurosport reported ahead of the fixture.
The match is being played in Nanterre, where BILD reports a crowd of 17,500 fans is attending the Paris Masters. Coverage of the tournament is being carried across German broadcasters, with Joyn listing broadcast details for the event.
RP Online framed the opener as a tricky one for Zverev, noting his poor past memories of facing Musetti. The Italian has given the German trouble before, and the second-round draw puts that history in the spotlight early in Zverev's campaign.
The Rolex Paris Masters is one of the final major stops on the ATP calendar, and Zverev carries the pressure of being the tournament's number one seed. Musetti, for his part, arrives with the chance to upset the top-ranked player in the field.
What to watch next: whether Zverev can handle the Musetti challenge and keep his Paris run alive, or whether the Italian adds another difficult chapter to their rivalry.
