A fundraising team in Zimbabwe is stepping up its efforts to secure an ambulance, according to Herald.co.zw. The outlet reported the development on Sunday, 25 October 2026, describing the campaign as intensifying.
The report, headlined "Team intensifies fundraising for ambulance," did not specify the team's location, its fundraising target, or how much has been collected so far. It also did not name the people leading the effort.
The available information indicates only that the campaign is ongoing and that organizers are pushing to increase support. Herald.co.zw did not say what prompted the appeal or where the ambulance would be deployed once funds are raised.
Fundraising for emergency vehicles is a recurring theme in Zimbabwean communities, though the source material does not provide figures or comparisons to place this particular drive in context. CYBEV.io has not independently verified the details of the campaign.
What to watch next: whether Herald.co.zw publishes further reporting on the team's progress, including the amount raised and a timeline for acquiring the vehicle.
