Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said a three-way meeting involving Ukraine, Russia and the United States has been arranged for early November in Abu Dhabi, according to 观察者网. He disclosed the plan on Friday during a video-linked session at the Hudson Institute, a US think tank, saying the date was set after calls with US envoys Witkoff and Kushner.

Zelensky said his side is prepared to take part at any time and that the exact schedule now rests with Russia. He stressed that the immediate priority is making sure the meeting actually happens, and that Ukraine wants European representatives and other partners to join alongside the American delegation. He also argued the talks should move from the technical level to the leaders' level, saying the core issues can only be settled at the highest level.

Earlier the same day, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced the Abu Dhabi meeting first, according to the same report. He said its main subject would be how to guarantee the security of both Russia and Ukraine once peace is achieved, adding that a full settlement of the Ukraine issue is impossible without security arrangements.

Zelensky also raised battlefield supply concerns, saying Ukrainian forces are still working to resolve Starlink connectivity problems despite US assurances that speed caps had been lifted. He said limits on Starlink and Starshield terminals remain in place and are causing difficulties for the military, and that deliveries of interceptors for defending against Russian ballistic missiles are still delayed.

Watch for confirmation of the exact dates and the final list of participants.
