British YouTuber and rapper Yung Filly has described meeting a female fan at a nightclub in Perth, Australia, before the alleged rape, The Guardian reports. He is giving evidence in his own defence at the trial.
The court heard that Yung Filly met the woman after a performance and that they later went to a hotel room, according to The Guardian. The rapper has denied raping and assaulting the woman, telling the court he "fancied her" and that she was "enjoying it," as reported by WAtoday and News.com.au.

Prosecutors have described the rapper as an "entitled semi-celebrity" who violated the woman "in the most intrusive way," according to The West Australian and The Canberra Times. The trial continues in Perth, with the defence arguing the encounter was consensual.
