Microsoft's subscription service is set for another month of additions, with Pure Xbox publishing a roundup of everything coming to Xbox Game Pass in October 2026. The report, dated September 26, 2026, collects the titles subscribers can expect during the month.
Separately, GAMINGbible reports that Game Pass shadowdropped a rival to EA FC 27, describing it as the first "essential" freebie in months. TheXboxHub, meanwhile, reports four new Game Pass additions that expand the subscription. Neither outlet's full list of titles was available in the material reviewed here, so specific game names beyond those references could not be confirmed.
The additions arrive alongside a busy release stretch. Xbox's own news channel outlined its schedule for September 28 to October 2, and ixbt.games reports the company revealed a list of releases for the current week totaling almost 40 games. That volume covers new titles across the platform rather than Game Pass alone, according to that report.
Taken together, the coverage points to a steady flow of new content into the service as October approaches, with the shadowdrop drawing particular attention from GAMINGbible for its timing relative to EA FC 27.
What to watch next: Microsoft's official confirmation of the full October Game Pass slate, which would clarify the titles referenced in the roundups above.
