Typhoon No. 25 has left a trail of damage across Chiba Prefecture, according to NHKニュース. The broadcaster reports that a levee collapsed at Inba Marsh, and that landslides occurred in various parts of the prefecture.
The levee failure at Inba Marsh is not expected to be repaired on a predictable timeline, 毎日新聞 reports. According to that outlet, water had been drained in advance, but the marsh still overflowed.
Damage also hit local businesses. Yahoo!ニュース reports that a fish farm was flooded, with as many as 100,000 fish, including goldfish, feared lost.
Search efforts continued in Chiba and Kanagawa prefectures as the 72-hour mark since the disaster approached, 読売新聞 reports. That outlet says one more body, whose sex was not identified, was found in a house in Yokosuka.

ウェザーニュース, meanwhile, reported on flooding in an inland area of Chiba — a low-lying spot on high ground some distance from any river — and looked back at the typhoon damage from on-site reporting.
What to watch next: whether repair work at Inba Marsh can begin, and whether the search for missing people in Chiba and Kanagawa yields further findings.
