Swiggy has appointed former Myntra CEO Nandita Sinha as the new chief executive of its quick-commerce arm Instamart, according to Moneycontrol.com. She replaces Amitesh Jha, who has resigned from the role.
The leadership change was reported on Tuesday, 28 July 2026. Multiple outlets, including The Hindu and Entrackr, confirmed the move. Shares of Swiggy rose about 6% following the announcement, according to Upstox.
Sinha previously served as CEO of Myntra, the fashion e-commerce platform owned by Walmart’s Flipkart group. Her appointment comes as Swiggy prepares to report its quarterly earnings, NDTV noted.

The company has not disclosed a reason for Jha’s departure. Industry observers will watch for any strategic shifts at Instamart under Sinha’s leadership.
