Sony has confirmed the PlayStation Plus games members will receive in October 2026, according to VidaExtra. The lineup covers both PS5 and PS4 and consists of three titles: F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2.
VidaExtra reports that the games were announced for PS Plus members, with the same three titles listed by PlayStation and echoed by outlets including 3DJuegos, GamerFocus and Instant Gaming News. The set matches what those outlets describe as the month's PlayStation Plus catalog offering.
The lineup spans three different genres. F1 25 is the latest entry in Codemasters' officially licensed Formula 1 racing series. Hunt: Showdown 1896 is Crytek's competitive extraction shooter set in a grim, monster-infested version of the late 19th century. Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 is a spin-off of the long-running EDF series, rendered in a voxel art style.
The reports do not specify the exact dates on which the three games become available to download, nor how long they will remain in the PlayStation Plus catalog. Pricing, platform-specific availability and any regional differences are also not detailed in the material published so far.
The announcement follows Sony's usual pattern of revealing monthly PlayStation Plus titles in the final days of the preceding month, which is when VidaExtra's report was published.
What to watch next: Sony's official PlayStation Plus update, expected to confirm download dates and the window during which each title can be claimed.
