South Korea captain Son Heung-min will start in a two-man attack against Uzbekistan, according to KBS News, as he targets his 59th goal for the national team and the record for most international goals by a South Korean player.

The Chosun Ilbo frames the match as a question of whether Son can move past Cha Bum-kun, the previous holder of the mark. KBS reported that Son is aiming for the 59th goal of his international career in the same starting role.

Coverage of the squad also points to other selection questions. Yonhap News reported that Kim Min-jae did not take part in team training for a second straight day after making pointed comments, and is expected to miss the Uzbekistan match. Chosunbiz reported that Kim Tae-hyun is the replacement, with Son and Oh Se-hoon forming the front pair in the starting eleven.

Separately, a Daum report examined the team's results under coach Moreno with and without Lee Kang-in, noting a lopsided win in his absence and heavier defeats or draws when he played, and raised the question of whether a two-man front line will appear against Uzbekistan to make better use of Lee's attacking ability.

What to watch next is whether Son reaches the scoring milestone and how South Korea's reshuffled defense, without Kim Min-jae, holds up against Uzbekistan.
