Saudi Arabia's National Center for Meteorology has issued a forecast warning of thunderstorms lasting until Tuesday across six regions of the kingdom, according to alyaum.com.
The center also cautioned that heavy rainfall and flash floods are possible in four regions, the outlet Okaz reported. Separate alerts covered specific areas: light rain was expected in Najran through the evening, while rain was also forecast for the Makkah region and the Al-Baha region, according to Sabaq, Al-Madina and the Saudi Press Agency respectively.
The warnings, carried by multiple Saudi outlets, point to a broad weather system affecting several parts of the country at once rather than a single localized event. The National Center for Meteorology is the body responsible for issuing these advisories, and its forecasts were cited across the reports.

Residents in the affected regions should monitor updates from the center as conditions develop. Further statements on rainfall intensity and any expansion of the affected areas are expected in the coming days.
