Roland Amartey will serve as the lead presenter for Sammyflex TV’s coverage of the Ghana Music Awards UK 2026, according to a report from Modern Ghana. The announcement, published on Monday, 31 August 2026, confirms Amartey’s role in the network’s broadcast team for the event.
Modern Ghana did not disclose additional details about the ceremony’s date, venue, or lineup of nominees in its report. The outlet’s coverage focuses solely on the appointment of Amartey to head the television coverage, indicating that Sammyflex TV has secured a dedicated broadcast presence for the awards.
The Ghana Music Awards UK is an annual event that recognises achievements in Ghanaian music, with a focus on artists and industry professionals based in the United Kingdom. Sammyflex TV, a media platform that covers entertainment and cultural programming, has previously provided coverage of similar events, though this specific engagement marks a notable assignment for Amartey.
The choice of a named lead presenter suggests that Sammyflex TV intends to offer structured, on-the-ground reporting from the ceremony. Such arrangements are common for diaspora-focused award shows, where broadcast partners help extend the event’s reach to audiences in Ghana and beyond.
As the awards season approaches, further announcements about the event’s schedule, performers, and nominees are expected. For now, the focus remains on the broadcast team, with Amartey’s role signalling Sammyflex TV’s commitment to delivering comprehensive coverage of the 2026 edition.
