Police in Norway arrested a young man in Åsane on Sunday morning after responding to reports of a possible violent incident at a residence there, according to Bergensavisen.
Several patrols were dispatched to the home, the newspaper reports. Officers had received messages about screaming coming from the property, which prompted the response.
Bergensavisen does not say what charges the man may face, nor does it identify him. The age of the detained man has not been released beyond a description of him as young.
No information has been made public about anyone else who may have been present at the residence, or about injuries. Police have not stated what they found when they arrived.
Åsane is a district in the northern part of Bergen, Norway's second-largest city.
What happens next will depend on the police investigation. Further details on the man's status and any charges are expected to come from authorities.
