Pokemon.com has announced the 2027 Global Challenge II, an online competition open to players, according to a post published on the site on Wednesday, October 7, 2026.
The announcement appeared under the headline "Compete in the 2027 Global Challenge II Online Competition." Pokemon.com describes the event as an online competition, indicating that participants take part remotely rather than at a physical venue.
The posting did not include further details in the material available, such as entry requirements, scheduling, format, or eligibility rules.
The Global Challenge name has been used by Pokemon.com for online competitions in the past, and this installment is positioned for the 2027 calendar year. The announcement date of October 7, 2026 places the notice roughly three months ahead of the start of 2027, though Pokemon.com has not stated when the competition itself will take place.
Players interested in the event should watch Pokemon.com for the full competition page, which typically carries registration windows, rules, and any participation limits. Until those details are published, the headline and summary remain the only confirmed information about the 2027 Global Challenge II.
