NPF Microfinance Bank Plc posted a pre-tax profit of N3.20 billion for the first half of 2026, marking a 7.7% increase compared to the same period last year, according to AfricanFinancials.
The lender’s interim report for the quarter ending June 2026 was published on Monday, 27 July 2026. The results cover the six-month period from January to June 2026. Nairametrics also reported on the earnings, confirming the pre-tax profit figure.
The profit growth comes amid a challenging operating environment for Nigerian microfinance banks, which face rising inflation and regulatory pressures. NPF Microfinance Bank, which is listed on the Nigerian Exchange, has focused on expanding its loan portfolio and digital services to sustain earnings momentum.

The bank’s full-year 2026 results, due in early 2027, will show whether this profit growth can be maintained through the second half of the year.
