Nitecore has introduced a new power bank that the company describes as its lightest and most compact model to date, according to a report from The Verge. The announcement was covered by the outlet on Saturday, August 8, 2026.
The Verge’s coverage highlights the device’s focus on portability, with the new design prioritizing reduced weight and a smaller footprint compared to earlier Nitecore offerings. The report did not include specific technical specifications, such as battery capacity, output wattage, or physical dimensions.
This launch continues Nitecore’s pattern of refining its portable charging lineup. The company, known primarily for flashlights and outdoor gear, has been expanding its range of power banks in recent years, often emphasizing durability and compact form factors for travelers and outdoor users. The latest model appears to target users who value minimal bulk over maximum capacity, though The Verge’s report does not confirm whether the smaller size comes with any trade-offs in charging speed or total power.
The Verge’s summary does not mention pricing, availability dates, or specific retail partners for the new power bank. As such, those details remain unconfirmed at this time.
What to watch next: Nitecore is expected to release full product specifications and pricing in the coming weeks, which will clarify how the new model compares to its predecessors in real-world performance.
