Actor Mohamed Farrag is set to headline "Hell Game," the first installment of the new anthology series "The Full Story," which will premiere on the streaming platform MBC Shahid on August 28, according to Masrawy.
The series opens with a crime that shook the city of Shubra El-Kheima, exploring the hidden dangers of the virtual world. Masrawy reports that Farrag's character becomes entangled in a bloody conflict with a teenage genius, a dynamic that drives the narrative of this opening chapter.
"The Full Story" is structured as an anthology, with each installment presenting a standalone story. "Hell Game" serves as the debut tale, setting the tone for the series' exploration of contemporary issues. Egyptian outlet Al-Masry Al-Youm highlighted the story's focus on exposing the darker side of online life, suggesting the series will examine how digital interactions can have real-world, sometimes violent, consequences.
Farrag has been actively promoting the project ahead of its release, with Al-Ahram Gate noting his promotional efforts for the new series. The actor's involvement is a key draw for the production, which appears aimed at blending social commentary with thriller elements.

The choice of Shubra El-Kheima, a densely populated area north of Cairo, as the setting for the opening story grounds the series in a recognizable Egyptian context. The plot's focus on a confrontation between an adult and a young tech-savvy adversary points to generational tensions around technology use.
As the August 28 premiere approaches, audiences can expect more details about the series' format and the other stories planned for future installments. The anthology structure leaves room for a variety of narratives under the "The Full Story" banner.
