Lumio has launched the Aura 5 bookshelf speakers in India, according to 91mobiles.com. The speakers are priced at ₹24,999, a figure reported by NewsBytes.
The Aura 5 is rated for 200W peak output and uses dual aluminium woofers, 91mobiles.com reports. FoneArena.com lists a 4.5-inch woofer and a 1-inch silk dome tweeter among the specifications, along with a remote that has an OLED display.
India Today reports that the launch brings premium speaker manufacturing to Bhiwadi, the Rajasthan location where the product is made. Gizbot reports that Lumio had 70 people listen blindfolded before launching its first speaker, describing the Aura 5 as the company's debut model.
Taken together, the coverage frames the Aura 5 as a new domestic entrant in India's bookshelf speaker segment, with the company highlighting local production and a listening test held ahead of the launch.
What to watch next: whether Lumio confirms additional models or wider retail availability for the Aura 5.
