The Spanish series "La Promesa" will see major developments in the week of August 17-21, according to Infobae. Curro will receive a letter that reveals significant information, while Máximo will make the decision to leave the palace.
The letter addressed to Curro comes from the Royal House, as reported by El Periódico. This correspondence is expected to have major implications for the character and the storyline. Meanwhile, Máximo's departure from the palace follows a difficult request made by Ángela, according to the same outlet.
These events build on recent plot twists in the show. In the previous week, episodes aired on August 13 and 14 featured a special storyline where Ángela discovered that Máximo is her father, as reported by Lecturas and OkDiario. The revelation was a central moment in the series, and the upcoming episodes appear to deal with the aftermath of that discovery.
The weekly preview from RTVE.es also mentioned that the earlier week of August 10-14 included an escape and a letter that would change everything. This suggests the show is building toward a significant turning point, with the new letter to Curro and Máximo's decision serving as key developments.
Viewers can expect the tension to escalate as Curro processes the contents of the royal letter and Máximo follows through on his plan to leave the palace. The question remains how these choices will affect the other residents of La Promesa and what consequences will follow.
