Kriti Sanon has shared a photo with her rumored boyfriend, Kabir Bahia, on social media, according to The Times of India. The post arrives as the actress faces criticism over a recent Raksha Bandhan advertisement.
The Times of India reports that the picture shows the two in a close, affectionate pose. Sanon and Bahia have been linked romantically for some time, though neither has publicly confirmed the relationship.
The timing of the post is notable. ThePrint reports that Sanon’s Raksha Bandhan ad has drawn backlash from viewers. Critics have objected to two elements of the advertisement: the inclusion of a pet dog and the outfit Sanon wears in the spot.
Raksha Bandhan is a Hindu festival celebrating the bond between brothers and sisters. The ad, which promotes the occasion, has sparked debate online, with some viewers arguing that the dog and the clothing choice stray from the festival’s traditional themes.
Sanon has not publicly responded to the criticism as of this writing. Her decision to post the photo with Bahia during the controversy has added to the online conversation, with fans and followers reacting to both the relationship update and the ad backlash.
The actress is known for her work in Hindi cinema, with roles in films such as Mimi and Bhediya. Her upcoming projects remain in the spotlight as the ad controversy continues to generate discussion.
What to watch next: Whether Sanon issues a statement addressing the ad backlash, and how the online reaction affects the campaign’s reception in the days leading up to the festival.
