Krasnodar lost to Rodina in a Russian Premier League match played on Saturday, 31 October 2026, according to Soccer.ru. The result saw Krasnodar repeat a club anti-record in the RPL that dates back to 2011, VFokuse Mail reported.
Rodina's Becaо was named the best player of the match, according to Sportbox. Rodina coach Alba said the 2:1 win was the kind of performance his side wants to produce every week, calling it a good spectacle and saying the three points rewarded the team's commitment, Sport Mail reported.
After the defeat, Krasnodar's Kordoba publicly backed head coach Musaev. "We will fight for Musaev. How can you stop believing in a coach who led us to a title?" Kordoba said, according to Match TV. The comment points to continued dressing-room support for the coach despite the result.
The loss adds to pressure around Krasnodar's league campaign, with the club's 2011 anti-record now matched. Rodina, for its part, took three points from a game in which its coach said the team's effort was the deciding factor.
What to watch next: whether Krasnodar's results improve in its coming RPL fixtures, and whether the club's public backing of Musaev holds as the season continues.
