Malaysian police have arrested 335 people in a series of raids targeting scam operations in Forest City, Johor, according to CNA. The suspects include 159 Chinese nationals who have been charged in connection with the fraud syndicate, as reported by Free Malaysia Today.
The operation involved multiple raids on two scam centres within the Forest City development, according to The Straits Times. At least 194 foreign nationals are expected to face charges, the outlet added. The Star also confirmed that over 330 individuals were taken into custody during the crackdown.
The South China Morning Post reported that the raids were conducted by Malaysian police in Johor, with the suspects detained for their alleged involvement in online scam activities. The arrests represent one of the largest such operations in the region this year, according to multiple outlets covering the story.

Authorities have not disclosed the specific types of scams allegedly run from these centres, but the scale of the arrests indicates a significant coordinated effort by law enforcement. The case is expected to proceed through Malaysian courts as charges are filed against the foreign nationals involved.
