Jeremy Clarkson is set to blend his two best-known pursuits — cars and agriculture — in a one-off television special, according to reports carried by The Sun and other outlets.
The programme, titled Jeremy Grows a Car, will air as a special edition of Clarkson's Farm, Variety reports. The premise sees the presenter attempt to construct a car using materials produced on his farm, the Belfast Telegraph reports.
The Independent frames the project as a return to Clarkson's motoring roots, while the Oxford Mail confirms it as a single standalone episode of the farming series. The Sun describes the show as a new television experiment combining his twin passions.
Clarkson's farming series has followed his work running a working farm, while his earlier broadcasting career centred on motoring programmes. This special appears to draw on both strands of that background, though the reports do not specify a transmission date or the broadcaster's full scheduling plans.
Further details on the episode's format and release have not been confirmed in the reports available. Viewers will need to wait for an official announcement on when Jeremy Grows a Car will be shown.
