In the September 29, 2026 episode of Ici tout commence, Mehdi reverses his position with Hortense and asks for a divorce, according to a full episode summary from Nouveautés-Télé.com. The outlet reports that he tells her he cannot raise their child with her. The episode is numbered 1534.
The reversal follows a difficult stretch for Hortense. Télé 7 Jours reports that in the September 28 episode, she comes close to suffering a miscarriage. That same day, telestar.fr reports, she learns bad news, while a new character, Vic, arrives at Calvières.
Coverage from other outlets points to a turbulent week in the series. Toutelatele notes that Hortense leaves, and AlloCiné reports that Coline enters a downward spiral during the week of September 28 to October 2, 2026.
What remains unclear from the available summaries is how Hortense responds to Mehdi's request and where the pregnancy storyline goes from here. Viewers will have to watch the coming episodes to see how the split plays out.
