HBO Max is expanding its catalog with four new series set to premiere in August, according to El Intransigente. The streaming platform will add the titles to its lineup over the coming weeks, giving subscribers fresh options across genres.
The announcement was made in a report published by El Intransigente on Sunday, August 2, 2026. While the outlet did not provide specific premiere dates or plot details in the available summary, it confirmed that the four series are part of the platform's August slate. Additional coverage from other outlets, including Otros Cines and Indie Hoy, also highlighted the upcoming releases, with Otros Cines naming titles such as "Linternas" from DC, "Miss You, Love You," "Song Sung Blue," and "Bugonia."
El Intransigente's report focuses on the catalog expansion itself, noting that HBO Max is continuing to build out its library with new content. The additions come as the platform maintains a steady flow of original and acquired programming, a strategy that has kept it competitive in the crowded streaming market.
For viewers looking for something new this month, the four series offer a mix of genres, though detailed descriptions were not included in the source material. Subscribers can check the HBO Max app or website for specific availability dates and episode schedules as August progresses.
With the month just beginning, the new arrivals give audiences a reason to browse the platform's updated offerings. Whether you're a fan of DC adaptations or prefer original dramas, the August slate appears to have something to explore.
