A High Court in Ghana has put off its decision on the bail application of Salomey Bafoh, a person connected to the matter widely referred to as the Ghana Jollof case. Graphic Online reported the adjournment on Wednesday, 23 September 2026.
The same outlet, along with GhanaWeb, identified the applicant as Salomey Baffoe in its coverage, while Graphic Online used the spelling Salomey Bafoh. Both reports centre on the same bail request.
Coverage of the case has also touched on the defence's position. GhanaWeb reported that a lawyer for Bafoh said she never received money from an account operator. No further details of the court's reasoning for the adjournment were available in the reports.
The case has drawn wider attention in Ghana. Separately, the BBC reported that police are searching for a 40-year-old woman, Barabara Kodua, over an alleged TikTok page said to incite violence, in connection with the same matter.

Also related, MyJoyOnline carried a call from Barker-Vormawor for uniform standards in Ghana, according to a report surfaced by UA.NEWS.
What to watch next: the court's new date for ruling on the bail application, and any further statements from the prosecution or defence.
