Forte has brought in Håkan Silfvernagel, an artificial intelligence specialist, from the consultancy Sopra Steria, according to SHIFTER. The move was reported by the Swedish tech outlet on Tuesday, 6 October 2026.
The hire places an experienced AI figure at Forte as the company builds out its work in the field. Silfvernagel joins from Sopra Steria, where he was based before the switch, per SHIFTER's report.
SHIFTER's coverage frames the appointment as a recruitment of AI expertise, though the report does not detail Silfvernagel's specific title or responsibilities at Forte. The outlet also does not specify what he worked on during his time at Sopra Steria.
The reporting offers no further information on the terms of the move, Forte's broader AI strategy, or any projects Silfvernagel will lead in the new role. Details beyond the fact of the hire and his previous employer were not included in the source material.
What to watch next: whether Forte or Silfvernagel publicly confirm the appointment and outline what his AI work at the company will involve.
