Florence Obinim has officially made public a new name, Yen News reports, in an announcement that comes while reports about her marriage continue to circulate. The Ghanaian media outlet published the development on Thursday, September 24, 2026, describing the change as now confirmed.
According to Yen News, the announcement was framed as official, with the outlet reporting that she unveiled the new name amid the ongoing marriage saga. Yen News did not, in the material available, specify the new name itself or explain what prompted the change.
The report places the name announcement within the wider coverage of her marriage that has been circulating in Ghanaian media. Yen News is the source of the claim that the change is official, and no further details about the circumstances or timing of the decision were provided in the reporting available.
It is not clear from the reporting whether the name change carries any legal or formal status, or whether it is intended for public and professional use. Yen News also did not indicate whether Florence Obinim or her representatives issued any additional statement beyond the announcement itself.
What to watch next: whether Yen News or other outlets publish the new name in full, along with any statement from Florence Obinim or her family clarifying the change and addressing the marriage reports.
