The Flamenco on Fire festival will present a contemporary view of the genre across three locations in Navarra this year, according to naiz:. The event is scheduled to take place in Iruñea, Viana, and Lizarra.
The festival’s opening performances are set to begin in Viana, as reported by Diario de Noticias de Navarra. This marks a return for the town, which will again host the first musical notes of the event.
Arturo Fernández, a participant in the festival, spoke to Pamplona Actual about the program’s intent. He said the goal is for the performances to emotionally move the audience, using a phrase that translates to "pinch the heart" of spectators.
In a separate interview with Infobae, Fernández discussed how flamenco interacts with other musical styles. He noted that the genre coexists with other forms of music and does so successfully, a theme that appears central to this year’s lineup.

Revista DeFlamenco.com added that the festival will premiere the second part of a trilogy in Navarra. The piece, titled "Cuatro acordes, un viaje" (Four Chords, a Journey), represents a new installment in this ongoing series.
The festival’s spread across three towns suggests an effort to reach audiences beyond a single urban center. Viana’s role as the starting point, followed by events in Iruñea and Lizarra, gives the festival a regional footprint.
With the second part of the trilogy set to debut, audiences can expect the third installment to follow in a future edition of the festival.
