The first network test for Duskbloods ended prematurely on its opening day, Sunday, August 23, 2026, after server errors prevented players from logging in. According to a report from Kyunghyang Games, the technical failure forced the test session to be halted earlier than planned.

The outage was significant enough that players could not access the game at all during the initial window, as detailed by GameWa, another outlet covering the incident. The test was scheduled to run for a set period, but the persistent server issues led organizers to call it off for the day rather than attempt a prolonged fix. GameMeca also confirmed that the first day of testing was cut short specifically because of the server problems.

Duskbloods is the upcoming title directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, known for his work on the Souls series. Ahead of the test, gameplay footage for the game’s “Grail Battle” mode surfaced online, as reported by games.gg. In a separate interview covered by Observatório do Cinema, Miyazaki noted that the game’s design draws inspiration from tabletop RPGs, a detail that adds context to the project’s structure and tone.

The early shutdown is a setback for players eager to try the game, but it is not uncommon for network tests to encounter launch-day strain. The question now is whether the development team can stabilize the servers before the next scheduled session. With the test window still open, all eyes will be on the follow-up day to see if logins run smoothly or if further delays are announced.
