Spanish rapper Delaossa headlined a concert at the Starlite Occident festival in Marbella on August 6, 2026, according to EL PAÍS. The performance drew attention for its distinctly local, working-class energy in contrast to the festival’s typically glamorous setting.
EL PAÍS reports that Delaossa, whose music is rooted in neighborhood life, managed to overshadow the event’s luxury sheen with his set. The crowd responded enthusiastically, with La Opinión de Málaga noting that the audience turned the venue into a sea of green and purple—colors associated with the artist’s branding.
A notable moment came when Delaossa brought his father on stage to sing with him, as reported by Al Sol de la Costa. The outlet described the evening as one where Starlite was “dressed” in the spirit of Málaga, the region where the rapper grew up.
The concert was part of a short summer tour. According to La Ganzua, Delaossa was scheduled to perform in Mallorca on August 14, followed by dates in Seville and Vitoria later in the month.
The Starlite festival, held annually in Marbella, typically features international pop and rock acts, making Delaossa’s inclusion a notable shift toward homegrown talent. His performance highlights the growing crossover appeal of Spanish urban music at mainstream festival events.
What to watch next: whether Delaossa’s upcoming shows in Mallorca and mainland Spain will replicate the same crowd energy and family-driven stage moments seen in Marbella.
