China's women's gymnastics team won the team gold at the Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, according to chinanews.com.cn, extending the country's streak in the event to 14 consecutive editions.
The title was decided at the women's team final, with Chinese outlets including Sina Finance and Sohu reporting the result. Sohu described the gold as one that has never gone to another team across those 14 Games.
The same day brought further success for China's delegation. Sina Finance reported that Chinese swimmers collected six gold medals in a single day of competition, in a roundup that also noted the gymnastics team's win.
Xinhua also covered the women's team final, publishing images from the event.

The streak means no other country has won the Asian Games women's team gymnastics title since China began its run. Wednesday's result in Nagoya keeps that record intact.
Coverage of the Aichi-Nagoya Games continues, with further gymnastics apparatus finals and the rest of the swimming program still to come.
