Police in Birmingham are asking the public for assistance in locating a woman who was last seen in the city, according to a report from WBRC.
The request was issued on Monday, August 31, 2026. Authorities have not released additional details about the woman’s identity, age, or the circumstances surrounding her disappearance in the initial appeal.
WBRC’s reporting indicates that the Birmingham Police Department is actively seeking information from anyone who may have seen the woman or knows of her whereabouts. The department has not yet confirmed whether this case is connected to any other missing person reports in the area.
The appeal comes as Birmingham authorities have recently dealt with multiple missing person cases. Other local outlets, including WBMA and WVTM, have separately reported on a missing 30-year-old man and a missing teenager, though WBRC’s current request focuses specifically on the woman.
At this time, police have not provided a description of the woman or a location where she was last spotted beyond the city of Birmingham. They are encouraging anyone with relevant information to come forward and contact the department directly.
The public’s help is considered crucial in these situations, as even small details can assist investigators in their search. WBRC notes that the police have not yet announced any leads or arrests related to this case.
Authorities are expected to release further updates as more information becomes available. Residents in the Birmingham area are urged to stay alert and report any possible sightings to law enforcement promptly.
