Ban Hyo-jin and Park Ha-jun won silver for South Korea in the 10m air rifle mixed team event at the Asian Games, MBC 뉴스 reported on Tuesday.
The pair trailed late in the final before a strong finish moved them up the standings. According to v.daum.net, the duo believed they were headed for bronze before a 10.9-point shot turned the result around. MBC 뉴스 described the outcome as a silver-medal comeback.
KBS 뉴스 reported that Ban kept her focus despite leg cramps during the competition. The broadcaster referred to her as a "shooting prodigy."
For Park, the medal follows a previous podium finish at the Games. 기호일보 reported that Park, a graduate of Incheon Physical Education High School, has now won medals on two consecutive days of shooting competition at the Asian Games.

경향신문 framed the result as the pair fulfilling a medal ambition that had gone unfulfilled in Paris. The outlet called them the "Ban-Park duo."
The silver adds to South Korea's shooting haul at the Games and gives both athletes a second medal moment in Incheon — Park on back-to-back days, and Ban while managing a physical setback during the final.
Further shooting finals remain on the Asian Games schedule, where the Korean team will look to build on the mixed team result.
