ASUS has officially released the Intel version of its ExpertBook P5 G2 laptop in Indonesia, according to a report from Gadgetren. The device is available with configurations that go up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 3 processor.
The launch was confirmed by Gadgetren on Thursday, August 13, 2026. The ExpertBook P5 G2 is positioned as a business laptop, with other Indonesian outlets such as Suara.com and Bukamatanews.id also covering the release, highlighting its enterprise-grade performance and security features.
The Intel-powered ExpertBook P5 G2 is part of ASUS’s broader ExpertBook lineup, which targets professionals and business users. The laptop is designed to handle work tasks with the help of AI capabilities built into the latest Intel Core Ultra processors, as noted by Suara.com in its coverage.
One important detail for potential buyers comes from Qoo Media, which reported that the RAM in the ExpertBook P5 G2 cannot be upgraded after purchase. This means customers need to choose their desired memory configuration at the time of ordering, rather than planning to add more later.

The ExpertBook P5 G2 joins other recent ASUS business laptop releases in the region. Sumbawanews, for instance, reported on the separate ExpertBook P3, which also features on-device AI and is aimed at businesses ranging from small and medium enterprises to larger corporations.
Gadgetren’s report did not include specific pricing or availability dates for the Indonesian market. However, the confirmation of the Intel version suggests ASUS is expanding its business laptop options in the country.
What to watch next: Whether ASUS will announce local pricing and retail availability for the ExpertBook P5 G2 in the coming weeks, and how it compares to the previously released ExpertBook P3 in terms of positioning.
