Who Touched Me? — Prophetic Sermon

INTRODUCTION

There is a woman in this story. She is nameless — and that is intentional by the Spirit of God. Because SHE IS YOU. She is everyone who has suffered loss, endured seasons of lack, been displaced, been forgotten, been overlooked — and yet dared to rise again and make their way back.

The Holy Ghost brought me to this passage for someone watching right now. Before I preach, I want you to receive this word into your spirit:

YOUR SEASON OF "AFTER" HAS ARRIVED.

VERSE 25 — "And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,"
Stop right there. Did you see that word?

TWELVE YEARS.

Twelve years of bleeding. Twelve years of pain. Twelve years of being ceremonially unclean. Twelve years of isolation. Twelve years of spending everything she had. Twelve years of hoping and being disappointed. Twelve years of watching her life drain away.

But I am sent to tell you today: YOUR TWELVE YEARS ARE OVER.

This is your AFTER SICKNESS. That disease that has lingered — cancer, diabetes, fibroid, hypertension, HIV, infertility, mysterious illness, spiritual sickness — the famine of your health is OVER. Receive your healing NOW in Jesus' name!

This is your AFTER BARRENESS. You are married. You have prayed. You have cried. You have been to the hospital. You have been to the altar. But I prophesy: the famine in your womb, in your home — it has ENDED. You shall carry your baby. You shall nurse your child. Your testimony is loading!

This is your AFTER FAILURE. You failed the exams. You failed the interview. You failed the business. You tried and it crumbled. But hear me — the season of failure in your life is EXPIRED. You shall pass. You shall be promoted. You shall succeed in the very area that seemed to mock you.

VERSE 26 — "And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,"
Stop right there. Did you see that word?

SUFFERED.

She suffered many things. She went to many physicians. She spent all that she had. And instead of getting better, she grew worse. Have you been there? You have tried everything. You have gone from doctor to doctor, from prophet to prophet, from church to church. You have spent all your money on treatments, on consultants, on solutions. And yet the situation has only worsened.

But I want you to know: your suffering has an expiry date. Your spending has an end. Your worsening situation is about to turn around. The Bible says in Psalm 30:5, "For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning." Your morning is here!

VERSE 27 — "When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment."
Stop right there. Did you see that word?

HEARD.

She heard of Jesus. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). She heard that there was a Healer, a Deliverer, a Miracle-Worker named Jesus. And when she heard, she came. She pressed through the crowd. She touched His garment.

You are hearing right now. Faith is rising in your heart. The same Jesus is passing by this moment. Will you press through? Will you touch Him?

VERSE 28 — "For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole."
Stop right there. Did you see that word?

SAID.

She said it. She spoke her faith. She declared her healing before she received it. She said, "If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole." She didn't say, "I hope so." She didn't say, "Maybe." She said, "I SHALL BE WHOLE."

What are you saying? What are you declaring? Your words have power. Proverbs 18:21 says, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." Speak life today. Declare your wholeness.

VERSE 29 — "And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague."
Stop right there. Did you see that word?

STRAIGHTWAY.

Immediately! Instantly! The moment she touched Him, the fountain of her blood dried up. She felt in her body that she was healed. It was not a gradual process. It was instantaneous. The power of God is not limited by time. He can do it right now. He can heal you right now. He can deliver you right now. He can restore you right now.

VERSE 30 — "And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?"
Stop right there. Did you see that word?

VIRTUE.

Power had gone out of Him. The Greek word is dunamis — miracle-working power. When she touched Him, power was released. Jesus felt it. He knew that someone had drawn from the well of salvation. He turned around and asked, "Who touched my clothes?"

He is asking you today: Will you touch Me? Will you draw from Me? Will you receive from Me?

VERSE 31 — "And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?"
Stop right there. Did you see that word?

THRONGING.

Many people were pressing against Him. Many people were in the crowd. But only one touched Him with faith. Many go to church. Many sing songs. Many pray prayers. But only those who touch Him with faith receive the miracle.

Don't just be in the crowd. Touch Him with faith today.

VERSE 32 — "And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing."
Stop right there. Did you see that word?

LOOKED.

He looked for her. He wanted to see her face. He wanted to connect with her faith. He wanted to affirm her healing. He is looking for you today. He sees you. He knows your faith. He will not ignore your touch.

VERSE 33 — "But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth."
Stop right there. Did you see that word?

FEARING.

She was afraid. She trembled. She knew what had happened. She came and fell at His feet and told Him the whole truth. She held nothing back. She confessed her desperation and her faith. And Jesus did not condemn her. He commended her.

VERSE 34 — "And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague."
Stop right there. Did you see that word?

DAUGHTER.

He called her Daughter. Not outcast. Not unclean. Not forgotten. Daughter. He restored her identity. He gave her peace. He confirmed her healing. And He sent her away whole.

DECLARATIONS

Say it with me:

1. I touch Jesus by faith, and I receive my healing now.
2. My twelve years of suffering are over.
3. I am whole from this day forward.
4. I am a daughter, a son, of the Most High God.
5. My faith has made me whole.
6. I go in peace, healed and restored.
7. My testimony is loading!
8. I am not forgotten; I am seen and loved by God.

PRAYER

Father, I thank You for Your Word. I thank You for the woman with the issue of blood, who pressed through the crowd to touch Jesus. Lord, I come to You now. I touch You by faith. I receive my healing, my deliverance, my restoration. I declare that my season of suffering is over. I am whole. I am Your child. I go in peace. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

CLOSE

My dear brother, my dear sister, the same Jesus who healed the woman with the issue of blood is passing by right now. He is asking, "Who touched Me?" Will you reach out and touch Him? Will you press through the crowd of doubt, fear, and unbelief? Will you speak your faith and declare your wholeness? Your miracle is waiting. Your healing is available. Your restoration is here. Go in peace, and be whole of your plague. God bless you.
