Turkey's exports surpassed $25.9 billion in October, Trade Minister Ömer Bolat said, according to Bigpara. Bolat described the month as a record for exports.
In the same remarks, Bolat said Turkey's goods exports for the year to date have risen by roughly 5 percent to $283.7 billion, İhlas Haber Ajansı reported. The Ticaret Bakanlığı also published its October data bulletin, Anadolu Ajansı reported.
Bloomberght carried Bolat's October figure in its own report. Separately, Habertürk reported that the Trakya region exported $231.4 million last month.
The figures come from the minister's public statement and the ministry's monthly bulletin, as reported by the outlets above. The material available does not break down the October total by sector or destination, or give a comparison with October of the previous year.
Watch for the full October foreign trade statistics from the Ticaret Bakanlığı and for any revision to the year-to-date export figure.
