Public hospitals and other healthcare institutions across Singapore experienced digital system disruptions, CNA reported on Tuesday, 13 October 2026.

The affected institutions fall under three clusters: NHG Health, the National University Health System (NUHS) and SingHealth, according to AsiaOne. The Business Times reported that patients should expect longer wait times as a result.

Call centre lines across NHG Health's network, which includes four hospitals, were temporarily unavailable, Yahoo News Singapore and The Online Citizen reported. The Online Citizen added that patients were warned of longer waits.

The reports did not specify the cause of the disruptions, the number of patients affected, or when services were expected to return to normal. No explanation has been given for whether the incidents at the three clusters are connected.

Singapore's public healthcare system is organised into clusters that each run multiple hospitals and polyclinics, so an outage affecting one cluster's network can reach several facilities at once. The disruptions reported on Tuesday touched all three of the country's main public healthcare groups.

Details on the scope of the impact and any restoration timeline have not yet been disclosed. Further updates from NHG Health, NUHS, SingHealth and Singapore's Ministry of Health are expected as the situation develops.
