The Shark PowerPro Flex Reveal Plus cordless vacuum is selling for $199.98 at Amazon as of Nov. 6, according to Mashable, which reports the figure as the lowest price the model has reached. The listing is $180.01 below the vacuum's $379.99 full price, a discount of roughly 47%.
Mashable frames the markdown as part of a broader pattern of early Black Friday promotions, noting that holiday sales have begun earlier each year and that home goods are among the categories already seeing cuts.
Why it matters
Black Friday itself has not yet arrived, but the discount cycle around it is already underway. For shoppers planning to buy household appliances during the holiday period, Mashable's report suggests some of the deepest cuts may appear before the official sale date rather than on it. A cordless vacuum at roughly half its list price is the kind of offer that typically anchors a Black Friday promotion, and its appearance in early November gives buyers a benchmark for judging later deals.
The price also matters because it is described as a record low for this specific model. Shoppers who have been tracking the vacuum have a clear reference point: $199.98 is the floor Mashable has recorded, and anything above that in the coming weeks would represent a worse deal.
What the vacuum offers
According to Mashable, the PowerPro Flex Reveal Plus is built for coverage across a home's floors. Its MultiFLEX wand bends so the vacuum can reach under furniture, addressing dust that collects in spots that are hard to see or access. The machine also carries FloorDetect Technology, which changes the brushroll's speed automatically as it moves between different floor surfaces.
Battery life is listed at up to 50 minutes per charge, which Mashable describes as ample time for cleaning a home's floors. The vacuum can also convert into a hand unit for spot cleaning above floor level, and it ships with a Crevice and Upholstery Tool for those tasks.
Mashable's coverage of the deal was written by Hannah Hoolihan, a freelance writer whose work has appeared on Mashable alongside outlets including IGN and Fangoria.
Early sales and what buyers should weigh
The timing of the discount fits a now-familiar retail rhythm. Mashable notes that early deals are already appearing across a wide range of home products, not just vacuums, as retailers compete for holiday spending before the traditional kickoff. That means buyers comparing prices this month are effectively shopping a stretched-out Black Friday season rather than a single day.
For anyone considering this model, the practical question is whether the $199.98 price holds. Mashable's report describes it as a best-ever figure as of Nov. 6, but does not indicate how long Amazon will keep it in place or whether stock is limited. Discounts of this size on cordless vacuums can shift quickly during the holiday period, and a price described as a record low one week may be matched or undercut later.
The listed specifications also give buyers a way to judge fit. A 50-minute runtime and a wand that folds to clean under furniture suit households with mixed flooring, which is where the automatic brushroll adjustment is designed to help. The hand-vacuum conversion extends the machine's use beyond floors, though Mashable's report does not detail capacity, weight or filtration.
What to watch
Shoppers should watch whether the $199.98 price persists through the official Black Friday window or is matched by other retailers, since a competing offer would change the calculus for anyone still deciding.
