A new poster for Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film "King" has drawn wide attention online, according to Daily Bhorer Dak. The poster shows the actor with a rose at his lips and a gun in his hand, the outlet reported.
The poster also carries a line in which the character describes himself as a lover, not a killer, according to The Daily Star Bangla. TheWall reported the same imagery, describing fire in his eyes alongside the rose and the gun.
Coverage of the poster has focused on Khan's return to a romantic lead image. Aajkaal framed the reveal around the actor at 60 stepping back into a "lover boy" role, and asked whether the poster signals an announcement about "King."
Separately, bdnews24.com reported that Deepika Padukone has returned to shooting less than two months after her daughter's birth. The material available does not specify whether her shooting is connected to "King."
The reports do not include a release date or further plot details for the film.
What to watch next: whether the filmmakers confirm a release date or share more cast details following the poster's reception.
