“Building on Your Highest Faith (How to Stabilise at Supernatural Levels)”
Scripture: Jude 1:20
The backlash came fast.
By morning assembly, Zara’s name was on the board. “Disruptive belief statements. Temporary speech restriction pending review.” Her wristband now locked her voice during school hours. One more public declaration and she would be suspended.
Wesley met her at the lockers, worried. “They’re trying to pull you down to their level.”
Zara shook her head. “Jude 1:20. Pastor Chris said we’re not building from scratch. The Greek word is *epoikodomeo* building a superstructure on a foundation that already exists. God already gave every one of us the measure of faith. Now we build on our *most holy faith* our highest level and stay there.”
She pulled Kayla into the empty music room. Kayla’s eyes were red. “My brother’s machines started failing again last night. I tried to speak, but the fear came back stronger.”
“That’s why we pray in the Holy Ghost,” Zara said quietly. “You increase your faith with the Word. Then you stabilise at that high level by praying fervently in other tongues. It’s how you stop fluctuating. You build yourself up until the supernatural becomes your normal.”
They locked the door. For the next twenty minutes the three of them prayed in the Spirit low, intense, unbroken. The atmosphere in the small room thickened. Fear loosened its grip. Kayla’s breathing steadied. Something settled deep inside her.
When the bell rang, Kayla wiped her face. “I’m not going back down.”
Outside, the principal’s office door opened. Officials from the Echo Protocol board were waiting with suspension papers for Zara.
But Kayla stepped forward first.
TO BE CONTINUED…
