Roxeanne Hazes says she is still regularly taken aback by the sexual stories her brother André Hazes has told in public, according to De Telegraaf. The newspaper reported the remark on Wednesday, 4 November 2026.
The report gives no further detail on which of André Hazes's public remarks she was referring to, or where and when she made the comment. De Telegraaf's headline focuses only on her reaction to her brother's disclosures.
The siblings have a public profile together as well as separately. According to NU, Het Parool and BNR, Roxeanne and André Hazes won the audience prize at the Dutch Podcast Awards, while the award for best podcast went to De Rolverdeling. De Limburger also reported the outcome, noting that its own outlet missed out on the prizes.
The awards coverage does not say which podcast earned the Hazes siblings their audience prize, and the available material does not connect the prize to Roxeanne Hazes's remarks about her brother.
What to watch next: whether Roxeanne Hazes or André Hazes responds publicly to the De Telegraaf report, and whether fuller remarks from the interview are published.
