Rockstar Games published the launch trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI on Thursday, October 15, 2026. According to Rockstar Games, the trailer marks the first appearance of "Flower in a Hurricane," a song from the game's original score.
The track comes from Justice featuring Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, according to Rockstar Games. The trailer also offers another look at the game's Vice City setting, as noted in coverage from The Verge.
The release drew attention from several outlets. The Hollywood Reporter framed the trailer as justification for the game's price tag, while Game Informer described it as a final, salacious preview. Rolling Stone focused on the musical collaboration behind "Flower in a Hurricane."
Details beyond the trailer itself remain limited in the reporting. Rockstar Games has not shared additional information about the full score or its other contributors in the material reviewed here.
The trailer's arrival puts the game's marketing push in its closing stretch, with the launch trailer typically serving as one of the last major promotional beats before a title reaches players. Music has been a recurring focal point for the series, and this installment's original score is drawing its own coverage ahead of release.
What to watch next: whether Rockstar Games releases further details on the full GTA VI soundtrack and its release date.
