Marabu Scandinavia will hold an open house at its Malmö site on 4 November, running from 10:00 to 15:30, according to Sign&Print. The reseller and ink manufacturer will present solutions across digital printing, UV printing, DTF, screen printing, inks and materials. The event gives visitors a direct look at both the company's product range and the operations behind it.

Why it matters

Marabu sits at the intersection of ink supply and equipment sales, two areas where print businesses face constant pressure to keep workflows efficient and materials consistent. An open day of this kind lets customers and prospects compare technologies side by side — from established screen printing processes to newer digital and DTF systems — rather than reading about them in isolation. Sign&Print reports that the programme also covers the less visible side of the business: colour management, profiling, material selection and logistics. For a sector where output quality depends on getting all of those details right, that combination is the practical draw.

Brands on show and a new screen printing table

The company's portfolio includes products from Platinum Technologies, Roland DG, Mutoh, Fiery, Caldera, Onyx, Avient and Wilflex. The most recent addition to the line-up is Polyprint, a Greek manufacturer of DTF equipment, Sign&Print reports.

Among the items on display will be Marabu's new frame tensioning table for screen printing. Visitors will also have the chance to meet the company's specialists in workflows, colour management, profiling, inks, material choice, digital printing and screen printing. In addition, the team responsible for customer service, warehousing, logistics and production will be on hand, and guests can go behind the scenes to see frame tensioning, stencil making and ink mixing in practice.

Roland DG's new UV series and the wider industry picture

Roland DG is launching a new series of large-format UV printers with print and cut capability. According to Sign&Print, the MG2 series combines striking print output with special effects. The machines extend applications beyond conventional sign and graphics production, covering work from window graphics to banners, decals, backlit displays and profile materials.

The open house takes place against a busy period for the wider printing trade. Sign&Print notes that New Era Publications International ranks among Scandinavia's largest internal digital book printers and is likely one of Europe's highest-volume and most advanced digital book printing operations.

A new trade fair, Flow, is scheduled for 3–5 November at Probo Print in Bad Hersfeld, north of Frankfurt. The organiser, Inkish, describes it as the world's first fair devoted entirely to software, automation and robotics for the printing industry.

Other developments reported by Sign&Print include the 2026 GL scholarship going to graphic designer Frida Svennberg, who studies graphic design and communication at Linköping University. KGM Datadistribution, a printing and communications agency based in Hägersten, has recruited Per Majak as its new sales manager. The poster company Desenio is opening a showroom at Kustom's concept store in Stockholm, a business built around checkout-free retail.

On the signage side, SweProd Graphics reports growing demand from industry, and the Visby-based company is hiring as it moves to two-shift operations, according to P4 Gotland. The firm has also received recognition for its strong export performance. Separately, designer Sebastian Wadsted has been awarded the Swedish Graphic Companies' prize of SEK 25,000 for the year's book designed and printed in Sweden.

For those attending in Malmö, the day offers a mix of equipment demonstrations and access to the people who handle colour, materials and production day to day. Watch for further announcements from Marabu on the Polyprint range and on how the new frame tensioning table is received by screen printers.
