Huawei has officially launched the FreeBuds Neo true wireless earbuds in Indonesia, according to Star Jogja FM. The earbuds are priced in the Rp1.7 million range, the outlet reported on Friday, October 23, 2026.

Star Jogja FM describes the FreeBuds Neo as weighing 4.8 grams. Reporting from ANTARA News says the model includes adaptive noise cancellation, while Media Indonesia's review highlights AI Noise Cancellation Pro. Gizmologi.id notes a compact design built around a mini stem, with battery life of up to 40 hours.

Coverage of the launch has focused on the combination of a light build and active noise suppression at a relatively low price. Gadgetren framed the release around its affordability, noting the earbuds are officially sold in Indonesia for a price in the single-digit millions of rupiah.

The FreeBuds Neo enters a crowded local market for true wireless earbuds, where buyers increasingly weigh noise cancellation and battery endurance against cost. Huawei's decision to launch the model officially in Indonesia gives local consumers a new option in the mid-range segment.

Watch for local availability details and hands-on reviews as units reach Indonesian retailers.
