Capcom will sell a premium collector's box for Grand Theft Auto VI exclusively through its official Japanese online store, e-Capcom, according to 電撃ホビーウェブ. Preorders open on Friday, October 30, 2026, at 12:00 noon, and the box is scheduled to ship on Thursday, November 19, 2026 — the same day the game itself launches.

The set is called the Vice City Collection. ファミ通 reports that it is priced at 99,980 yen and describes it as a luxury package aimed at adult buyers, bundling a figure, a cap and shot glasses among its contents.

Why it matters

Collector's editions for major releases usually reach Japan through game retailers or platform holders. This one arrives instead through Capcom's own direct-sales channel, and only there, which makes e-Capcom the single route to the box for Japanese buyers. The timing matters too: preorders begin roughly three weeks before launch, and the box ships on release day rather than ahead of it, so buyers will not have the extras in hand before the game arrives.

The price also places the collection well above a standard software purchase, positioning it as a display piece for dedicated fans rather than an add-on for casual buyers. According to ファミ通, the package contains eleven items in total.

What is inside the box

The published details focus on three branded lifestyle items that carry the game's Leonida and Vice City imagery.

The first is a pair of Oakley Frogskins sunglasses in matte black, fitted with Prizm Sapphire lenses. A Vice City pink GTA VI logo serves as the accent, and the glasses are presented as a way to cut the Leonida sun.

The second is a New Era 9FORTY A-Frame snapback hat, decorated with "Vice City Leonida" detailing through embroidery, appliqué and trim work.

The third is a pink glass mirror with an electroplated finish, intended either as a tray or as a wall piece — it has two large magnets on the back for mounting. The mirror is described as a way to look back on one's own life choices, a line that fits the game's setting.

Capcom's materials note that Grand Theft Auto VI, VI, The Goodtime State, Vice City, R and related logos are trademarks of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc., which holds the copyright, with rights reserved from 1997 through 2026.

A map that keeps growing

The collector's box lands amid a steady flow of details about the game itself. AUTOMATON reports that the GTA VI map is larger than the maps of GTA IV, GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2* combined, and that the scale is matched by density rather than empty space.

That claim, if it holds at launch, would make the Leonida setting the most expansive world Rockstar Games has built — a point that gives the collection's place-themed items, from the Vice City pink logo to the "Vice City Leonida" hat, something concrete to reference.

What to watch

Preorders open at noon Japan time on October 30 through e-Capcom, and stock for limited collector's boxes of this kind has a habit of moving quickly. The box ships November 19 alongside the game.
