LET NOTHING STEAL YOUR JOY
(Your Success And Joy Are His Dream)
Saturday, 31 October
TO THE BIBLE: James 1:2 NASB
“Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials.”
Competition day arrived with the expected noise.
Some students paced. Others whispered worst-case scenarios. A few already looked defeated before the first paper was distributed. The atmosphere tried to press in with pressure, comparison, and the old language of fear. Kemi felt it for a moment then she chose differently.
At the edge of the hall Tobi found her standing with quiet steadiness.
“You’re not carrying the tension,” he said.
“I’m not allowing it,” Kemi replied. “Someone once asked if it’s really possible to be full of joy all the time. The answer is yes because our reality is not human experience. Our reality is Christ. In Christ I can be joyful every day and successful every day, irrespective of what happens around me. That is God’s desire for me. He wants me joyful and successful.”

She adjusted her bag and continued.
“Jesus came, lived, died, was buried, and rose again for my sake. He suffered so that I might live in the glory of His sufferings. That means I am meant to live joyfully, enjoy my life, be the Father’s dream, and be a success in everythin regardless of the challenges. James says to count it all joy when we encounter various trials. The Word calls them light afflictions. Nothing can overwhelm me. The distress is for a moment. It will turn out for my good. Every problem that tries to contend with my joy is temporary. It is a springboard for promotion and the next level of glory.”
Tobi smiled slightly. “So you’re not waiting for the results to decide your atmosphere.”
“Exactly,” Kemi said. “I refuse to yield to pressure. I subdue it with the Word. I stir up the joy of the Lord from within my spirit and laugh on in victory. Satan and his demons are discomfited in an atmosphere of joy, love, and laughter. I live at the top by maintaining a joyful heart today, not later.”
She spoke it with quiet force:
“My life is an expression of the glory of God. I live independent of the circumstances around me because all things work together for my good. I rejoice always in the Lord. I am a victor for life. Nothing steals my joy.”
Throughout the day she practised it. When a difficult section appeared, she did not collapse into anxiety she stayed joyful and focused. When others around her sank into complaint, she kept the atmosphere of her own heart clean. She laughed easily. She spoke life. She refused every attempt of pressure to rewrite her reality.
By the end of the day, whether the scores were immediate or still pending, one thing was already settled.

On the way out Tobi glanced at her.
“You finished the same papers as everyone else. But you lived in a different atmosphere.”
Kemi nodded. “Because success and joy are His dream for me. I will not let anything steal what He already gave. I consider it all joy. And I keep laughing in victory.”
The October journey had carried her from a leaked project and social pressure into dominion, expansion, harvest, excellence, right language, and greatness. Now it closed on the one thing that held it all together.
Nothing stole her joy.
And nothing would.
