SUPPORT THE GOSPEL FINANCIALLY
(Learn To Give Cheerfully And Intentionally)
Tuesday, 27 October
TO THE BIBLE:2 Corinthians 9:8
“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.”
The competition preparation was advancing, and the harvest mindset from the day before still shaped how Kemi saw results. Yet Tuesday brought a different focus one that reached beyond personal success into Kingdom purpose.
At lunch Tobi noticed her counting a small amount she had set aside from her weekly allowance.
“You’re planning something,” he said.
“I’m starting something,” Kemi replied. “I’ve been learning to expect harvest, to walk in prosperity, to live the miraculous life. All of that is real. But true success is not only about good grades or personal breakthroughs. True success comes when I understand God’s vision and choose to be part of it. His vision is that His presence is taken to the nations. He’s counting on us, His kids, to do it.”

She placed the notes carefully into an envelope.
“I don’t have to wait until I’m older, wealthier, or more established. God has always used young and unlikely people David the shepherd, the boy with five loaves and two fish. The size of my resource matters less than the size of my purpose. I’m already a Kingdom ambassador. My talents, my influence, and even what I give can point people to Jesus. Everything I do should connect to winning souls and expanding the Kingdom.”
Tobi leaned in. “So you’re giving now not later when it feels bigger.”
“Exactly,” Kemi said. “I’m learning to give cheerfully and intentionally. Whether from my allowance or anything else that comes into my hands, I refuse the mindset that says, ‘As long as I have enough for me, I’m good.’ I’m called to think bigger. When I give towards church projects, outreaches, or missions, I’m helping someone somewhere hear about Jesus. God can trust me with more resources when my heart is set on His Kingdom. As I stay committed, He increases my capacity.”
She held the envelope and spoke quietly:
“Lord, I give this for the expansion of Your Kingdom. I’m reaching the lost for Jesus through this seed. You make all grace abound toward me so that I always have all sufficiency and an abundance for every good work. I am a financier of the Gospel, and my capacity to give is increased daily.”
Later that week she followed through on the plan. The amount was not large by the world’s measure, but it was intentional. It was cheerful. It was connected to a larger purpose than her own competition timeline.

On the way home Tobi glanced at her.
“You’re not just preparing to succeed. You’re positioning yourself as someone God can trust with more.”
Kemi nodded. “Because supporting the Gospel financially is not a side activity for when life is easier. It’s part of who I am now. I give. He multiplies. And the Kingdom expands.”
The competition still required focus. The days still held personal goals. But a clearer line had been drawn between temporary success and lasting impact.
She was learning to give.
And she was starting now.
