"YOU’RE ROYALTY (Walk, Talk, and Live As Royalty)"
The conversation with the sceptical student took place after school on a quiet bench near the sports field.
His name was Nathan. He asked honest questions—about identity, about whether faith actually changed anything, about how the group stayed steady when people pushed back. Elena answered from the Word without trying to win him. Something in his posture softened. As they finished, he said quietly, “I don’t know what I believe yet… but I can tell you don’t see yourselves as ordinary.”
That single comment stayed with Elena as she walked to meet the others.
At the park the group processed both the encouraging conversation and the ongoing pressure. The testimony that had begun spreading was still drawing attention. One of their longer confessions was showing the first small signs of change, just as the TeeVo had prepared them to expect. Yet a subtle temptation had also crept in—to shrink back into careful, ordinary language so they would not attract more scrutiny.
Jordan caught himself mid-sentence. “I almost said, ‘I hope this works out.’ That’s not how we’ve been talking.”
Sofia opened the TeeVo.
YOU’RE ROYALTY (Walk, Talk, and Live As Royalty)
Key Nuggets from Pastor Chris:
- Jesus loved us, washed us from our sins, and made us kings and priests to God (Revelation 1:5-6).
- You are an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ (Romans 8:17).
- You are not ordinary. You are a prince of power with God, placed in charge of His possessions.
- Kings’ children are trained to walk, talk, dress, and behave differently.
- Refuse beggarly language. Children of kings do not talk cheap; they exercise authority.
- In prayer, do not beg—relate to God as a son who has a right to His inheritance.
- Make up your mind to walk, talk, and live as the royalty you are.
The words confronted the quiet drift toward ordinary speech and ordinary posture. They had been learning bold confession, saturation, and walking in the light. Now the call was clearer: live as who they already were.
Elena spoke first. “Nathan noticed something. He said we don’t see ourselves as ordinary. The TeeVo says that’s because we’re not. We’re royalty. We have to stop talking and carrying ourselves like we’re still trying to become someone.”
They took the Act seriously. For the rest of the day they policed their language—rejecting every beggarly or uncertain statement and replacing it with words that matched their identity. They practised speaking as heirs, not as people hoping for crumbs. Even small conversations about the city sessions and the school responsibilities shifted in tone.
That evening Elena wrote in her journal:
I am not ordinary. I was made a king and a priest. My words carry authority. I will not shrink into beggarly language just to stay comfortable. I will walk, talk, and live as royalty.
The path ahead still held both open doors and quiet resistance. But the group was no longer approaching it as students trying to prove themselves. They were learning to occupy the position they had already been given.
TO BE CONTINUED...
_Tomorrow in Episode 28 (Friday): The next theme from the August TeeVo will continue to build the group as they learn to function consciously from the place of authority and divine partnership._
TODAY’S TEEVO TRUTH (Key Nuggets by Pastor Chris):
- You have been made a king and a priest. You are royalty.
- You are an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ.
- Refuse ordinary and beggarly language; speak and live with authority.
- Walk, talk, and carry yourself as the royalty you already are.
ACTION STEP: Today, police your language. Reject every beggarly or ordinary statement. Replace it with words that match your identity as a king and a priest unto God.
SUSPENSE ALERT: Nathan asks to join the next lunchtime discussion—bringing both genuine hunger and the eyes of some who still oppose the group. At the same time, one of the long-standing confessions produces a clearer breakthrough, forcing the group to decide whether they will respond with greater boldness or pull back to avoid more attention.
Find out tomorrow!
Keep living out your TeeVo—you’re royalty. Walk, talk, and live like it!
