LIVING THE MIRACULOUS LIFE
(The Holy Spirit At Work In You)
Sunday, 25 October
TO THE BIBLE: John 21:25
“And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. Amen.”
Sunday carried a quieter kind of expectation.
The competition was still ahead. The higher standards Kemi had set remained in place. The Word was still her success secret. Yet as she sat with her notes that morning, something larger than preparation settled over her thinking. She was not only studying for results. She was living with the Holy Spirit inside her and that changed what she could expect from ordinary days.
Tobi found her on the back steps with her Bible open beside the competition folder.
“You’re not just reviewing material,” he said.

“I’m adjusting my expectation,” Kemi replied. “Jesus’ life was an unending stream of the miraculous. He fed thousands with a small lunch, raised the dead, walked on water. Those were real moments of God’s power. He has gone to heaven, but He left the Holy Spirit here to continue the Father’s work through us. He said, ‘As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.’ That means my life is also supposed to be an unending stream of the miraculous.”
She closed the folder for a moment.
“I don’t have to wait until I’m older to see God move. The Holy Spirit lives in me. He is the power of the Godhead the doer and performer of miracles. Jesus said the Father who dwells in Him does the works. That same Spirit indwells me. As He is, so am I in this world. As He is supernatural, so am I. A miracle can take place in me, around me, or through me any place, any time.”
Tobi raised an eyebrow. “So you’re expecting one today?”
“I’m living ready for one,” Kemi said. “This is my set time. I recognise that the Holy Spirit is working in me, with me, and around me, even when I can’t see Him with my eyes. I’m not just preparing for a competition. I’m participating in the miraculous life.”
Later that afternoon, a small but clear moment came. A classmate who had been stuck on a concept Kemi had already mastered asked for help. As she explained it, the understanding clicked for the other student in a way that felt sudden and complete more than ordinary explanation. The student looked up and said, “It just opened.” Kemi gave God the glory quietly and kept moving.

On the way home Tobi glanced at her.
“You were ready for that.”
Kemi nodded. “Because the power is in me. My life is not supposed to be ordinary. The Holy Spirit is at work in me—and that makes the miraculous normal.”
The competition still required diligence. The days still held ordinary tasks. But the atmosphere around her life had shifted again.
She was living the miraculous life.
And the Holy Spirit was the One making it possible.
